I couldn't help but be hugely impressed with Kalahari King, he looked like he really needed the run and picked a good field up and carried them - he must have a huge chance in the Queen Mother.I also caught Dunguib and Joncol in Ireland today and both impressed me in other ways, Dunguib has gears - huge gears and Joncol is a really old fashioned style chaser that is a hearty battler.
My trip was good to Doncaster with Lennon running really well for me and on better ground will be a really good fun horse for the rest of the season. The snow is coming so this could be another really quiet week - I might be back on my skis again !!!
